ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company limited is a largest private life insurance company limited in India with an assets size in excess of ` 80,000 crores. It is a joint venture between two big financial conglomerates viz. ICICI Bank (holding 74%) and Prudential Holdings UK (holding 26%). Financial control team is entrusted with responsibility of company financials which is prepared both in IRDA (regulator) format and management format. The responsibility includes financial closing activities, expense provisioning, compliance to accounting standards & IRDA regulations pertaining to financial preparation.

Key Accountabilities:List the key accountabilities of the role i.e. the critical areas in which the position is expected to produce results on a continuing basis

Overall responsibility for monthly financial preparation including financial closing and related activities.





Monthly Expense provisioning and analysis, fixed asset accounting etc.


3. The person shall be responsible for compliance to accounting standards and various IRDA regulations pertaining to financial preparation.

4. Review and analysis of various accounts and control over various accounting system.

5. Financial reporting to promoters / regulators.

Person Profile:




Education Background

Chartered Accountant




Any other job related skills required e.g. software programs, Excel




MS office, SAP (Basic)

Years of experience




0-3

Industry Exposure: e.g. Consumer Durables, IT

Financial Services

Type of Experience : E,g retail sales, market research etc.

Big 4 accounting firms, insurance industry, experience of working on IFRS/ USGAAP will be an added advantage
